Was a great turn out at the recent Morgan and Wacker V-Rod Ride day here in Brisvegas. Was a nice ride from the city at 8.30am straugth out onto the western freeway ipswich bound. Heading off at Riverview towards Loamside then onto Coulson then across to Beaudesert, then onto Cunungra behind the back of Nerang then down to Springbrook. Was a awesome morning fine with a few clouds and fog as were started heading up the range at Springbrook. We stopped at a place called The Manor for a delicious 2 course lunch and a few beers. Just as we got therethe rains started to come down so we were all glad we had jsut made it to our lunchtime destination. We were there for lunch for about an hour and a half, then finally the rain eased off enough for us to head home. Most took their own way home after lunch. Was a great day and was good to catch up with fellow VRodders. Here are a few pics courtest of NightNoise.

Scotty Brings Home The Top Trophy From The Morgan & Wacker Motorcycle Shootout |
Yes Folks, He has come home with the goods. Our local hero has brought home the winning trophy from the Morgan and Wacker Motorcycle Shootout. Scotty and his Players Showgirls Race Team had a great meeting with small margins around .042. The bike ran right on the money all day and was about .020 over Scott's dial in. It was a very hot day and the MPH's weren't there but the ET's were on the money with 9.55 dial in and running 9.585 in qualifying and 9.585 in first round and then 9.573, 9.570 & 9.594 in the final. Scotty endded up going to the final and ending up with the trophy & winning the event.
Scott woud like to thank everyone who has supported him this season. Without their help this type of result would not be possible. Great effort Scott and good to see the bike is running consistant also, can't wait to see the results of your next encounter. Go get em champ!!!!!! |

Scott Keogh - Big Congrats for new PB Scott Keogh is starting 2009 drag festivities with a screaming run and new PB on his 2005 Harley V-ROD Destroyer 1300cc pumping out approx 175 HP!!! Last Sat 17th Jan at Willowbank Raceway in Round 1 eliminations Scott decided to go for it guns blazing and ripped out a very impressive 9.55 @148.22 MPH. Scott's run was impressive enough to make someone call for a fuel check right after the run, but rest assured all went through fine so now he has a new PB time to strive for aye Scotty??? Scotty would like to thank his sponsors who without their ongoing support, his racing wouldn't be possible:- Players Showgirls Gold Coast, Rolscar Smash Repairs, Scooter HQ, Raceparts Australia, Wizard Race Products, 3M, Budget Auto Parts, Powerhouse Dyno Tuning, Morgan & Wacker, Pro Accessories Australia, Baystar Express Hand Car Wash, K&N, Maxima Racing Oils, Avon Tyres, Vance & Hines Motorsport, RioGraphix.
